Even before the month of April, the heat has started increasing in the North Indian states of the country. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of more heat from April 1 in many states including Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Gujarat. The temperature in the national capital Delhi can go up to 40 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature is also expected to be above normal. While Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya may receive heavy to very heavy rains in the coming days.
The scorching and scorching heat has started across the country. The Indian Meteorological Department has informed that heat wave is likely to move over Central and West India during the next 4 to 5 days. These include many states including Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Goa and Gujarat.
Temperature will go up to 40 degrees in Delhi
The Meteorological Department has warned that in the beginning of April, the temperature of Delhi can go up to 40 degrees. Apart from Delhi, the states with more heat include UP, Uttarakhand, Punjab and other states of North India.
Heavy rain likely in northeastern states
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heatwave and severe heat in most parts of the state in the next three to four days. Whereas between March 31 and April 3, heavy rainfall is expected in isolated parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam-Meghalaya. The effect of south-westerly winds coming from the Bay of Bengal can be understood behind this.
