After Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the Indian government is evacuating students from neighboring countries including India under Operation Ganga. The Indian government has helped many more countries including Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan and rescued them from the battlefield. Meanwhile, a Pakistani student Asma Shafiq has praised the Indian government fiercely.
In a video, Asma has said that I am very thankful to the Indian Embassy in Ukraine. We were in a very difficult situation but they got us out safely. Along with this, I also thank Indian PM Narendra Modi for his help. We are going back home safely because of the Indian Embassy.

Bangladeshi PM also praised
Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the safe evacuation of 9 Bangladeshi nationals from Ukraine as part of ‘Operation Ganga’. According to reports, students from Nepal and Tunisia have also been rescued under Operation Ganga.
According to reports, Roshan Jha of Mahottari district of Nepal was also rescued by Indian officials. Roshan had expressed his gratitude to the Government of India for this. Later, the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu informed that the Indian government was evacuating seven more Nepalese nationals via Poland.
