More than 60 officers and employees of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh are involved in this action of IT. IT teams are checking documents at 18 locations of businessmen and contractors in the state capital Raipur, Kawardha and Durg districts. Talks of IT team getting more than Rs 15 crore in cash are also coming to the fore.

The Income Tax Department team raided 18 places of these businessmen on Wednesday morning. Investigation is going on in Kawardha at the locations of businessman Kanhaiya Agarwal and Jashpur contractor Vinod Jain in Raipur. Officers are also scrutinizing documents at NC Nahar’s house in Durg.

The IT team has also reached the homes of the relatives of these businessmen. Police personnel are also stationed outside Ashok Ratan in Raipur. Action is also going on in Raipur itself at Romanceku Villa, Hotel Puneet located in Pandri. Teams are also checking the documents at the factory located in Hirapur-Leopard. It has been more than 36 hours since this action of IT. According to the information received, IT has seized documents of bogus expenses from contractors and businessmen.
IT seized raw transaction documents
According to sources, a large number of raw transaction documents have been seized from the contractors and traders. At the same time, more than Rs 15 crore cash, large amount of jewelery and property information at many places has also been received by the department from their locations. IT team has seized more than half a dozen bank lockers. Sources claim that this action will go on for 1-2 more days. A team of Income Tax is preparing to search the bank locker soon. It is said that the projects of these contractors are also going on in many districts of the state. Income tax officials are not giving any information yet. Here, due to the action of the IT department, there is a stir among the businessmen.
