The ‘Aadhaar Sheela’ scheme was launched on February 1 last year
The country’s largest insurance company LIC is bringing a new insurance plan, which is becoming most popular among women. The name of this scheme is ‘Aadharshila’. The benefit of this police can be available only to those women who have Aadhar card. This scheme has been launched on 1st February 2020. Which also gives savings along with life cover.
In this policy, a woman has to invest Rs 29 per day. He will also be able to save Rs 4 lakh on maturity. Any woman can also take a loan under this policy if needed. The minimum age of the woman to avail the loan is 8 and maximum 55 years. The loan tenure is 10 years and the maximum is 20 years. The age of the woman should not be more than 70 years at the time of maturity.
Under this scheme, a loan of at least 75 thousand to at most 30 lakh can be taken. A 20-year-old woman who takes insurance of Rs 3 lakh will have to pay Rs 10,868 annually. Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly premiums can be deposited in this plan.
Under the insurance benefit, on the maturity of the policy, the sum assured will be received along with the bonus on its maturity. Apart from this, if he dies within 5 years of the inception of the policy, then his heir will get the same amount as the sum assured.
