Pratapnagar police station of Udaipur, Rajasthan has arrested a young woman, who washed her hands at her maternal uncle’s house to give a gift to her lover. For this, this young woman stayed at the maternal uncle’s house at night and fled with three and a half lakh rupees in cash and gold ornaments.
Head constable Lal Singh said that in this case Sejal daughter Hemraj alias Pintu Dangi, resident of Shobhagpura, has been arrested. Against this his maternal uncle Kalulal son Navalram Dangi has filed a case of theft. According to the report filed by the maternal uncle, his niece Sejal came to the house on March 15 at around 7 pm and stayed there for the night. The next day she got up at five o’clock in the morning and went to her house. Taking a chance in the night, he stole three and a half lakh rupees and gold jewelery kept in the cupboard.
Confessed crime after arrest
Police said that when Sejal was arrested and interrogated, he told that he had stolen this money and jewelry with the intention of giving a gift to his lover. The police produced the girl in the court. From where he was sent to jail.
