Here BJP’s allies Apna Dal and Nishad Party have to face the ordeal. At the same time, the strength of the Subhasp and the People’s Party from the allies of the SP is also considered here the most. Azamgarh is a big stronghold of SP, where last time BJP could win only one seat out of 10 seats.
Voting for 349 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh has been completed in six phases so far. Now in the last seventh phase, polling is to be held on March 7 in 54 assembly seats of nine districts from Azamgarh to Varanasi of Purvanchal. These districts also include Mau, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra. The special thing is that in this phase, along with BJP and SP, their allies are also to be tested.
