Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav has termed as baseless by Prashant Kishor’s claim of Bihar’s backwardness in the last 30 years. Not only this, without considering him as a factor in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav also asked who he is. Talking to the media, Tejashwi Yadav said, ‘Prashant Kishor’s statement does not matter. Even no reaction can be given on that. This is a baseless statement. I don’t know where he is, who is he? He has never been a factor till now. In fact, Prashant Kishor had said that in the last 30 years, Bihar has been ruled by Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar and during this the state has been lagging behind.
Let us inform that Prashant Kishor had announced ‘Jan Suraj’ in the past and he said that it will be started from Bihar. It is believed that Prashant Kishor may form a political party in the coming days. He did not join the party even after a long talk with the Congress and now his tweet has intensified the stir. Prashant Kishor has been working on preparing electoral strategy for different parties for almost a decade, but now he himself is preparing to go to the public by forming a political party.
Talking to the media, the RJD leader also questioned the policies of Nitish Kumar. He said that Nitish Kumar should tell whether the Citizenship Amendment Act will be implemented outside or not. He said that Nitish Kumar’s party had also voted to get it passed in Parliament. In fact, Nitish Kumar had said that CAA is a policy issue and the major concern of the state government is to save people from the corona crisis. He had reacted to the statement of Home Minister Amit Shah, under which he had said that the CAA will be implemented after the end of the Corona crisis.
Attacking Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav said that his own party had supported the CAA in Parliament. In such a situation, now his opinion about it does not matter. Tejashwi Yadav said, ‘Our stand is clear regarding CAA and NRC. We had opposed them in Parliament as well and I don’t think it will be implemented in Bihar any time soon. JDU had supported it in Parliament itself. People had come out on the streets regarding this matter and every party had expressed their opinion on this issue. When JDU supported it in Parliament, then now their opinion doesn’t matter.
