89th floor of Jeddah Tower is ready, this building will be taller than Burj Khalifa, see when it will be completed

The world’s tallest building ‘Jeddah Tower’ being built in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia has achieved a new milestone. By February 7, 2026, the 89th floor of this tower will be completely completed. The construction work is going on at such a fast pace that now only 11 more floors have to be built to touch the historic figure of 100 floors. This project is an important part of Saudi Arabia’s ‘Vision 2030’ and the eyes of the whole world are fixed on it.

When will Jeddah Tower be ready?

The work of Jeddah Tower is going on at a very fast pace. The construction team is preparing a new floor every 3 to 4 days. Considering this pace, it has been estimated that this building will reach the 100th floor by the end of February 2026. Even after this the work will continue and it is expected to be completely completed by August 2028. When it is ready, its height will be more than 1000 meters, which is about 173 meters more than the current tallest building Burj Khalifa.

Project Cost and Features

The contract to build this huge tower is with Saudi Binladin Group and the contract for the construction of the tower alone is worth about 7.2 billion riyals (about 1.92 billion dollars). The entire development of Jeddah Economic City is estimated to cost around 100 billion riyals. There will be a total of 59 lifts in this tower, which will run at very high speed. It will also have a Four Seasons hotel, luxury homes and the world’s highest observation deck.
