Big news for the people living in Kuwait, government launched ‘Wasel 101’ platform, now government work will be done in a jiffy

There is a good news for Indian expatriates and local citizens living in Kuwait. Kuwait’s Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) has officially launched a new ‘Unified Platform’ on 14 February 2026. Its main objective is to make government services very easy and fast for the common people. For this, the Kuwait government has partnered with global technology company Sprinklr. With the introduction of this new system, people’s complaints and government work will now be resolved faster than ever through ‘Wasel 101’.

What facility will the general public get from Wasel 101?

This new project has been started mainly to strengthen the ‘Unified Government Contact Centre’ i.e. Wasel 101. This will have a direct impact on every person living in Kuwait.

Now citizens and residents will not have to wander to different government offices for their complaints or inquiries. Wasel 101 will work as a national hub from where information about all government services can be obtained. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used in this so that people’s questions can be answered immediately. With the help of smart automation, your request will reach the right department without any delay.

System built in collaboration with Google Cloud and Sprinklr

The world’s big technology companies have helped in preparing this high-tech platform. This entire system is based on Google Cloud, which increases its security and speed.

Impulse International Communications is providing technical support for this project. A contract worth approximately $2.3 million has been approved to implement and support the Wasel Center. This is part of a larger IT agreement with the Government of Kuwait whose total value is $8.6 million. Officials say this is an ‘advanced stage’ of digital transformation.

Kuwait Vision 2035 and improving services

The Government of Kuwait is continuously engaged in improving government functioning under its ‘Vision 2035’. The objective of this new platform is to reduce the time taken for government files and applications.

A centralized dashboard has been created in this system. Through this, the government will now be able to directly see in which department people are getting good service and where there are delays. This will also provide transparency to expatriates in their visa, residency or other government paperwork and the work will be done quickly.
