A top diplomat of UAE has made it clear that information about any step taken for the defense and security of the country will be completely made public. The government has clarified that such sensitive information will never be given through media leaks or anonymous claims. UAE is currently in a state of self-defense after the recent attacks by Iran. Diplomatic Advisor to the President, Dr. Anwar Gargash said that the UAE’s policy is completely transparent so that no kind of misinformation spreads in the region.

Denial of media leaks and rumors
In the last few days, reports were published in the international media that the UAE has reduced its missile interception systems. UAE officials have termed these claims as completely false and misleading. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE has strong defense systems and adequate stocks.
According to statistics, recently Iran has fired more than 1400 ballistic missiles and drones at UAE infrastructure. But the UAE’s air defense did an excellent job and successfully destroyed 9 ballistic missiles and 109 drones in the air within just 24 hours between 6 and 8 March.
