Former American NSA Bolton said, Trump’s relationship with Modi is now over

Former US National Security Advisor (NSA) John Bolton has said that President Donald Trump had very good personal relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but “now he is over.”

Former US National Security Advisor (NSA) John Bolton has said that President Donald Trump had very good personal relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but ‘now he is over.’ He warned that close relations with the American leader would not be able to protect world leaders from the ‘worst’ phase.

Bolton’s remarks have come in the Indo-US relations in the last two decades of probably the last two decades of background, with Trump’s tariff (fee) policy and India’s frequent criticism by his administration.

He recently said in an interview to the British media portal ‘LBC’, “I think Trump looks that Trump looks at his personal relations with his personal relations.” So if he (the President of Russia) has a good relationship with Vladimir Putin, then America would also have a good relationship with Russia. Obviously, it is not so.

Bolton has been a National Security Advisor in Trump’s first term. But now he is a vocal critic of Trump.

Bolton said, ‘Trump had very good relations with Modi personally. I think that relationship is over now, and this is a lesson for everyone. For example, for the (Prime Minister of Britain) Kayer Stomor, that a good personal relationship can sometimes be helpful, but it will not protect you from the worst situation. ‘ Trump will travel to Britain from 17 to 19 September.

In a post on social media with his interview with ‘LBC’, Bolton said that the White House has pushed back the ‘US-India relations decades, causing Modi to come close to Russia and China. China has introduced itself as an alternative to the US and Donald Trump.
