The Ministry of Commerce has warned shopkeepers not to increase prices of goods and not to hoard. If someone is caught doing this, he may have to pay a fine of up to 10 lakh riyals. Along with this, there can also be a jail sentence of up to one year. However, the news of relief is that those whose visas were expiring have been given an automatic extension of one month without any fees and without visiting the office.
