‘H-1B visa misuse threat to national security, now heavy fine will be imposed’ statement of President Trump

US President Donald Trump said that the H-1B program is being misused by national security. He signed an announcement on the visa used to appoint workers, including India, to ban the entry of some non-immigrant workers and to appoint workers, including India to stay and work in the US.

Trump on Friday signed an announcement called ‘Ban on the entry of some non-resident workers’, which ban the entry of workers in the US with H1B applications not to pay US $ 100,000. Trump said in the announcement, “H-1B non-migrant visa program was designed to bring temporary workers to the US for additional, high-skilled work, but it is deliberately exploited to bring low-pay, less efficient workers in place of American workers.”

He said in the manifesto, “The misuse of the H-1B program is also a threat to national security. Domestic law enforcement agencies have identified and checked outsourcing companies dependent on H-1B involved in other illegal activities encouraging foreign employees to come to America … and other illegal activities encouraging foreign employees to come to the US.” Trump said that to prevent misuse of the H-1B program, it is necessary to impose high costs on companies wishing to use this program, as well as companies should be allowed to appoint the best temporary foreign employees.

The announcement said, “Our economic and national security has required immediate immediate action due to the mass misuse of the program requires immediate action. Therefore, I believe that some foreign workers in the United States admission in the United States” will be harmful to the interests of the United States as such an entry will damage American workers, including their salaries. “

Trump ordered that the Home Safety Minister, after 12 months after the effective date of the announcement, which is September 21, 2025, would ban deciding applications without paying US $ 100,000 for workers with H-1B special business, which are currently out of the United States. The Foreign Minister will also issue guidelines to prevent misuse of B visa by foreign beneficiaries of sanctioned H-1B applications starting before October 1, 2026, as per requirement and to the limit allowed by law. It states that these restrictions will not be applicable to any person or people working in any company or industry, if it is determined that appointing such individuals as business employees with H-1B expertise is in the national interest and there is no threat to the security or welfare of the United States. The Homeland Department of Security and the Department of External Affairs will coordinate all necessary and appropriate action to implement this announcement and will deprive any H-1B non-residents of entering the United States, for which the future employer has not paid. The ban on entry will only apply to individuals who enter the United States after September 21, 2025 or try to enter.
