India and Pakistan were ready for a big war, I stopped it: Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump has once again claimed to end the war between India and Pakistan. He reiterated that eight aircraft were downed in this military conflict last year.

Trump has so far repeated his claim about 70 times that he had stopped the military conflict between India and Pakistan in May.

In an interview with ‘Fox News’, Trump said, ‘I have stopped eight and a quarter wars because the conflict had started again between Thailand and Cambodia.’ He said that ‘in principle’ there should be a Nobel Prize for stopping every war.

According to Trump, India and Pakistan were ready for a big war. He said, “These are two nuclear armed countries. I stopped the war between them. Eight aircraft were shot down. “They were in a really big war situation.”

It is noteworthy that India had launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on the intervening night of May 6 and 7 in response to the Pahalgam attack on April 22. Both countries agreed on May 10 to end the military conflict. India has always denied any third party interference.
