After America’s claim that it has destroyed Iran’s missile capability, there has been a sharp reaction from Iran. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has said that the purpose of the heavy missiles fired initially was to blind the enemy’s radar and defense systems. Now Iran can target any place with fewer missiles and the ‘Iron Dome’ system has become a joke for them.

What are Iran’s new missiles and their strategy?
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched new attacks under ‘Operation True Promise 4’. Some of the main points of Iran’s new missile strategy are as follows:
Missiles like Qadr, Kheibar Shekan and Emad were used in the attacks. Fattah hypersonic missile operating at a speed of Mach 15 was deployed. It was claimed to have foiled the radar systems installed in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
Iran says that they have carried out precise attacks without being detected by America’s Patriot and THAAD systems.
What is the difference between the claims of America and Iran?
US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth claims that Iran’s missile launching capability has reduced by 90 percent. But Iranian officials are calling it their new strategy, in which they are targeting accurately by using fewer missiles. On the other hand, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani has warned that all ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz will now have to take permission from Iran. According to the IRGC, some ships passing through without permission have already gotten into trouble.
Warning of attacks on economic and infrastructure
Iran has officially announced that if there is any attack on its territory, it will give an immediate and befitting reply. After the recent attack on a bank in Tehran, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Command has talked about targeting the financial centers and banks of America and Israel. Speaker Qalibaf has made it clear that if America attacks their domestic infrastructure, they will retaliate in the same manner and target regional infrastructure.
