On March 17, 2026, the European Union (EU) has given a big statement regarding the Iran war. According to the EU, at present there is no plan or sign visible to end the ongoing war in Iran. According to the report of SaudiNews50, tension is continuously increasing in the Middle East and diplomatic talks are completely stopped. Meanwhile, attacks on neighboring countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar have also intensified.

Drone attacks in Saudi Arabia and Qatar’s tough stance
The Saudi Defense Ministry has informed that drone attacks were attempted in different parts of the country since Tuesday morning. Security forces intercepted and destroyed 37 drones over Eastern Province and 34 drones over Al-Kharj. A Saudi official has also termed as false the report which said that Saudi Arabia wants to prolong this war.
On the other hand, Qatar has also been attacked with 17 missiles and 6 drones. After this attack, the Qatar government has made it clear that no talks will be held until the attacks from Iran stop completely. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in constant touch with other countries on this entire matter.
European Union and America’s action
European Union’s Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas said that there is no clear way to stop the war. Iran’s rule has been weakened by the attacks of America and Israel, but there is no roadmap regarding ceasefire. The EU has further strengthened its maritime mission to protect commercial ships in the Gulf and Red Sea.
Israel has also intensified its operations and killed Iran’s security chief Larijani in an attack. In view of all these circumstances, an American warship is moving towards the Middle East. A large team of Marine Commandos is also present in this ship.
