A major drone attack took place in Basra city of Iraq on 4 April 2026. After this attack, a massive fire broke out in a big complex of Basra Oil Company. Basra Oil Company has confirmed that a drone has hit their complex in Al-Burjusiya. According to Reuters, the attack took place on the storage of foreign oil companies west of Basra. After the incident, a fire broke out in the premises and fire brigade vehicles reached the spot to extinguish it. At present, no official information has been received about anyone being injured or killed in this attack. Security forces are surrounding the area and investigating from which direction the drone had come.
