This action has been taken in the southern suburbs of Beirut and cities like Tyre. The Israeli Air Force has carried out heavy bombing in the southern areas of Beirut called Dahiyeh. Before the attacks, the army had issued a warning in Arabic asking people to evacuate the area. Several buildings and a major hospital were also damaged in the Lebanese city of Tyre. Apart from this, there is also news of attack near Masnaa Crossing, the main road between Lebanon and Syria.
Hezbollah positions were targeted in Beirut’s Dahiya area. Hospitals and residential buildings in Tire city were heavily damaged. Orders have been given to evacuate the Masnaa border crossing. Israel has attacked more than 3500 targets in Lebanon in the recent past.

Hezbollah has issued a statement saying that it has attacked an Israeli warship in the sea with a cruise missile. The organization claims that this attack is a response to the bombing of villages in Lebanon. On the other hand, United Nations (UN) peacekeeping force UNIFIL has said that the cameras of their headquarters have been destroyed. Concern is also being expressed at the international level regarding the safety of peacekeepers because till now many peacekeepers have lost their lives.
