Kuwait Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flights to Lahore, Pakistan from April 1. These flights will not be operated directly from Kuwait but via Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia. According to information shared by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), passengers will have to follow special reporting and check-in rules for this journey. This move has brought relief to expatriates living in Kuwait who want to travel to Pakistan.

What rules will passengers have to follow for the journey?
Kuwait Airways has set some important rules for passengers traveling via Dammam. It is mandatory for passengers to follow these rules so that they can reach their destination without any hassle.
Passengers must check into Kuwait 24 hours before their flight time. Al Khiran Mall Must check-in. Buses from the Mall to Dammam Airport will depart 8 hours before the scheduled flight time. People traveling by private vehicle to Al Khiran Mall or Sabah Al-Salem You can complete your paperwork in the office. The baggage deposit window at Dammam Airport will be closed 3 hours before the flight. Residents are required to have a transit visa to travel through Saudi Arabia.
Services also started for Istanbul and Cairo
Kuwait Airways is running flights not only to Lahore but also to other cities via Dammam. The company has said that it will start two flights a week to Istanbul from April 1. Four flights a week have been started for Cairo since March 26. Acting CEO of Kuwait Airways Abdulwahab Al-Shatti said that the airline is working to improve its services according to the changing situation so that passengers do not face any problems. Other airlines such as Jazeera Airways also plan to operate via Dammam.
