NSA Ajit Doval Stting in front of Putin: The proof of how strong the friendship between Russia and India is was also seen in Moscow on Thursday.
Putin himself made Modi’s envoy Ajit Doval sit in front of him. Putin not only got to know Modi’s message through Ajit Doval, but he also expressed what was in his heart.
Putin is once again waiting for his friend Modi. He has sent his message to PM Modi through Ajit Doval. Putin made this proposal during his meeting with Doval in St. Petersburg.
Vladimir Putin told Ajit Doval, ‘I propose to have a second meeting with PM Modi on October 22. Doval Bhai, please convey our warm regards and best wishes to PM Modi. He is a very good friend of ours.’
During this, Ajit Doval also conveyed PM Modi’s message to Putin. NSA Doval informed Putin about the meeting and talks with Ukrainian President Zelensky during PM Modi’s visit to Kiev.
The world is aware of the friendship between India and Russia. Even when there was talk of finding a way to peace in the Ukraine war, Russia remembered its special friend India.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has personally invited PM Modi to the BRICS summit to be held in Russia next month and has proposed a separate bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during this period. Ajit Doval has gone to Russia for the BRICS NSA Summit. Putin held a closed-door meeting with Ajit Doval on Thursday.
During this, Putin made his proposal. He told Ajit Doval that he wanted to meet and talk to PM Modi on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.
He described the PM as a very good friend of his and sent his best wishes. Doval told Putin, ‘As Prime Minister Modi said during our telephone conversation with you, he is looking forward to briefing you on his visit to Ukraine and his meeting with President Zelensky.
Putin does not talk one to one
He (PM Modi) wanted me to come personally and brief you about this conversation.’ The meeting took place during the conference of National Security Advisors of BRICS (Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa) countries in St. Petersburg. The Putin-Doval meeting took place nearly three weeks after Modi visited the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and held talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The BRICS summit will be held in the Russian city of Kazan on October 22-24. PM Modi may attend this summit. Earlier, PM Modi visited Russia in July.
According to Russian media, in the meeting with Ajit Doval, Putin said, ‘We are waiting for our good friend Modi and wish him all the best.’
Ajit Doval has also made Putin aware of India’s stand on the Ukraine war. He also presented PM Modi’s message to Putin regarding peace agreements. This meeting between Ajit Doval and Putin is also special because Putin does not easily have a one-to-one conversation with any NSA.
