Pakistan Army Operation: Big action of Army in Balochistan, 92 terrorists killed and 15 soldiers martyred.

Security forces have carried out a major operation in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. The Army retaliated and killed 92 militants in the last 24 hours. 15 army soldiers have also been martyred in this fierce battle. This action was taken between Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, when militants launched simultaneous attacks at several places.

Where did the most violence and damage occur?

This violence has been mainly reported in districts like Quetta, Gwadar, Mastung, Noshki and Panjgur. Militants also targeted residential areas and labor camps, resulting in the loss of 18 civilian lives. Women and children are also included among the dead. Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for these attacks, in response to which the army has started a cleanliness drive or ‘Sanitization Operation’ in the entire area.

What rules has the government made for security?

To control the situation, mobile data service has been completely stopped in many districts including Quetta and Sibi. Hospitals have been put on high alert so that the injured can be treated immediately. The Balochistan government has already set aside a budget of more than Rs 100 billion to maintain law and order. Many countries including America have issued ‘Do Not Travel’ advisory for their citizens in Balochistan.
