The Interior Ministry of Saudi Arabia has taken a special initiative on the occasion of Foundation Day. The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has issued a special passport stamp for international travellers. This stamp was placed on the passports of all those who arrived or departed from Saudi Arabia on this historic day. Its objective is to make the journey of the travelers memorable and connect them with the history of Saudi Arabia.
ℹ️: The truth about Maruti Suzuki Mini Bus came out, the news of 13 seater and Rs 5 lakh turned out to be completely fake.
What is this special stamp and what is its importance?
This special stamp was launched on 22 February 2026 which marks the anniversary of the establishment of the Saudi state. It has been designed in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture to keep the historical memories of the country fresh. This service is completely free and no fee was charged from the passengers for this. It does not replace the official entry or exit stamp but is placed on the passport as a souvenir.
At which places this facility was provided
This facility was made available at all international entry gates of Saudi Arabia. This included major airports such as King Khalid International Airport and King Abdulaziz International Airport as well as all land borders and ports. The passengers were welcomed with stamps as well as roses and other gifts. This initiative was a good opportunity for Indian expatriates and tourists living there to have a closer look at Saudi culture.
