Although the Saudi Supreme Court will take the final decision only after seeing the moon, this possible date is considered very important for preparations.

When will the moon of Ramadan be seen?

According to the latest report, the new moon is expected on 17 February 2026 at 3:01 pm (Saudi time). Astronomers say that there are chances of the moon being visible on Tuesday evening, due to which the first Roza can be observed on Wednesday.

However, an interesting thing has also come to light that some experts in Egypt and Oman believe that seeing the moon may be a little difficult. For this reason, in some places it is expected that Ramadan will start from Thursday, February 19. This means that this time also Ramadan may start on different days in different countries.
