Siwan: People took to the streets in support of Ali Khamenei, the procession remained peaceful amidst heavy security

A big procession was taken out in Siwan district of Bihar on Thursday. The procession was organized in support of Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei. A large number of people took to the streets in the city carrying banners and posters. The police and administration had made strict security arrangements, due to which the entire program was conducted peacefully. The police kept a close watch on this event held on March 5, 2026.

From where to where did the rally go?

According to the report of Prabhat Khabar, this rally started from Purani Qila ground of the city. After this the procession reached Gopalganj turn via Makhdoom Sarai turn. People attending the rally held banners supporting Ali Khamenei. People of Muslim community participated enthusiastically in it. The administration had deployed police forces at various places to maintain traffic order on the route so that the common people do not face much trouble in commuting.

On what conditions was the permission given?

The district administration had given ‘conditional permission’ for this procession. The officials had given clear instructions that no inflammatory speech would be given during the rally. Apart from this, any kind of objectionable slogans were completely banned. The police were asked to ensure that sentiments of any community are not hurt. There was police surveillance throughout the route and the program ended without any violence or controversy.
