UAE created history: Industrial exports crossed 262 billion dirhams, Sheikh Mohammed released figures

HH Sheikh Mohammed, Vice President of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has shared important information regarding the economic progress of the country. He said that UAE’s industrial sector is growing very fast and has become the backbone of the country’s economy. An increase of 25 percent has been registered in comparison to last year. The country has exported industrial products worth more than 262 billion dirhams within a year.

Which sectors contributed the most?

According to Sheikh Mohammed, the technology industry has a big role in this success. The share of technology industries in total exports has been 90 billion dirhams. With these figures, UAE has now come first in terms of industrial exports in the region. This is a strong sign for the country’s economy and shows that the country is now leading in the production of things other than oil.

Government and private sector together did wonders

The coordination between government and private sector is behind this big success. The rules made by the government and the hard work of private companies have together made the country an industrial giant. Apart from this, the country’s excellent digital infrastructure and strong banking system has also proved helpful in this. Sheikh Mohammed has expressed hope that the figures of 2026 will be even better and stronger, for which the government is bringing more new schemes.
