UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the current session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During this meeting, External Affairs Minister Sheikh Abdullah appealed to Netanyahu to end the ongoing bloody war in Gaza.
Sheikh Abdullah said it is very important to end the need for permanent and sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, preventing citizens’ casualties, and ending the tragic circumstances that are facing ordinary citizens in the Gaza Strip. He talked about supporting international efforts to ensure the release of all the hostages and prisoners and emphasized the importance of joint action against all types of terrorism and variable extramism.
