UAE prepares ‘Umm Al Emarat’ ship for Gaza, ration and essential goods will reach before Ramadan

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has intensified its efforts to help the people of Gaza Strip. Loading work has begun on the ‘Umm Al Emarat’ humanitarian ship at Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, 8 February 2026. This ship is being sent under ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’, the main objective of which is to support the people of Gaza in this difficult time.

Special preparations for Ramadan and items on board

This mission has been specially prepared keeping in mind the upcoming month of Ramadan. The aim of the authorities is to ensure that the people there do not face major problems in food, drink and shelter during the holy month. The goods being loaded on this ship include a variety of essential items:

Ready-to-eat food and flour. Tents and winter clothes to hide your head. Medical equipment and medicines for field hospitals. Water tankers and hygiene items.

How much help has been sent so far?

After loading from Abu Dhabi, the ship will head to Egypt’s Al Arish Port, the main logistics hub for sending aid to Gaza. Earlier, the 12th ship ‘Saqr Humanitarian Ship’ had reached there only on 6 February. Generally 4,000 to 7,200 tonnes of goods are sent in these ships.

According to the information given by the government, more than 4.4 billion dirhams (about 1.2 billion dollars) have been provided so far under this entire operation. This entire campaign is being run on the direct instructions of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan so that timely help can reach the needy.
