The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has appealed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the Gaza Shanti Yojana of US President Donald Trump. Along with this, abandon any scheme for the merger of West Bank.
In a conversation with Reuters, a representative said that the Emirates has warned that if Netanyahu tries to increase possession of the West Bank, it will affect the chances of normalizing the relationships with major Arabs and Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. The UAE, which normalized Israel’s relations under Abraham Accords, gave a message to Netanyahu through his Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed during the meeting in New York that the Emirates supports the peace plan of Trump and considers it beneficial for all aspects.
The 21 -point of the Trump administration focuses on ending the Gaza war and ensuring the release of the hostages. According to the report, the scheme includes disarmament of Gaza, disarmament of Hamas, establishment of a transitional technical government and gradually Israeli withdrawal, while reconstruction works will be monitored under the US leadership. At the same time, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries have made it clear that they will not normalize relations with Israel without making concrete progress towards two-state solution (two-nation solutions).
