The murder of Dalit in Rae Bareli should be investigated by SIT, Yogi Adityanath should resign: Congress demands

The Congress on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party government of the state in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, and said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should resign from his post, taking responsibility for the incident.

Rajendra Pal Gautam, head of the party’s Scheduled Castes Department, also said at a press conference at the Congress headquarters that a special investigation team (SIT) should be formed to investigate the incident.
