Lucknow, October 12 (IANS). Congress leader Surendra Rajput has claimed that there is no tussle or deadlock regarding seat sharing in the grand alliance for Bihar assembly elections. He said that the India Block alliance and the Grand Alliance of Bihar are as one as water.
Speaking to IANS, Rajput termed the talks of deadlock being spread by BJP and its ecosystem as false. He said that today Tejashwi Yadav is coming to Delhi. Lalu Prasad Yadav is also in Delhi. We all will definitely meet and take appropriate decisions by this evening. Rajput said that the final list of seats will be released soon.
The Congress leader has welcomed signs of improvement in India-Canada relations. He said that the visit of the Canadian Foreign Minister to India should be fully welcomed. Every Prime Minister in the last 75 years has made India strong, which is a testament to our strong economy. For this reason every country wants to improve relations with us. However, Rajput targeted the post-2014 central government. He said that after 2014, our defense policy and economic policy failed due to weak leadership.
On the important meeting of All India Muslim Personal Law Board being held in Delhi regarding the Waqf Amendment Act, Congress leader Surendra Rajput said that he has full right to hold such a meeting.
Whatever problems arise in the meeting, resolve them. If there is any problem then they should go to the Supreme Court and get their problems resolved. All parties and boards have the right to hold their own meetings. There is nothing inappropriate in this meeting.
On Delhi government banning Coldriff cough syrup, Surendra Rajput said why doesn’t the central government ban it? Why is the investigation not being done? The state government has no right to take decisions. Center should break its silence on this. Expressing doubt, he asked whether this was a case of electoral bonds.
Regarding UPPSC PCS preliminary examination, Surendra Rajput said that see, six and a half lakh candidates are appearing. Those candidates who will not be successful should prepare for the next time. We can hope that this exam will not be leaked.
On CM Yogi Adityanath’s meeting with the family members of Hariom Valmiki, who was beaten to death in Rae Bareli, the Congress leader said that a compensation of Rs 50 lakh should be given.
Surendra Rajput, while referring to the murder case of Chandan Gupta during the Tiranga Yatra in Kasganj on 26 January 2018, asked whether his family members got compensation? On Afghanistan-Pakistan tension, he said that this is not our subject, but if our leadership had been strong then PoK would have been ours, but ceasefire was imposed.
