Jaipur. To inspire the youth towards a drug-free, focused and purposeful life, on Thursday, Government Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports Department and Chairman Rajasthan Youth Board, Dr. Neeraj K. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pawan. Government Secretary said that under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Youth Board and Art of Living organization, to make the youth program “Drug Free Youth – Developed India – Fit Rajasthan” successful, a unique session ‘Utsah’ will be organized at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on the upcoming Children’s Day, 14th November. In this session, youth, players from all government/non-government schools, colleges, universities, N. C.C., N. S. More than one lakh youth of 15-29 years of age and common people from S.S., India/Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Police, RAC, Army, Home Guards, various employee unions, NGOs, various coaching institutes, engineering and medical colleges will participate. This session will be telecast live in more than 180 countries, the aim of which is to create drug-free, stress-free Rajasthan. The key speaker in the program organized under the leadership of Rajasthan Youth Board will be world famous humanitarian and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Dr. Neeraj K. Pawan told that the Government of India has given the status of sport to Yogasana, through Yogasana the youth can be freed from addiction and connected to the service of the country. He said that more and more youth should be administered the oath of drug freedom. He directed the officers of Rajasthan State Sports Council, Police, Information and Public Relations, Information and Technology, Tourism, Medical and Health, Higher Education and Technical Education, School Education (Secondary), Medical Education and Yoga and Ayurveda Department, Art and Living Organization, National Service Scheme and private universities present in the meeting to play their responsibilities and roles to make the program successful. He said that everyone should fulfill their responsibilities with full honesty so that the program can be organized successfully.
Rajasthan Youth Board Secretary Kailash Chand Pahadia, Art of Living Coordinator Vivek Aggarwal and all other officials were present in the meeting.
