A tragic incident took place in Jabalpur on Thursday, when a cruise boat running on the Narmada-Bargi dam capsized due to a sudden storm. At that time there were about 31 people on the boat. Four people have died in this accident, while 15 other people have been saved. Meanwhile, the search for 12 missing people is going on. Jabalpur Collector Raghavendra Singh confirmed that four people lost their lives when the cruise boat capsized in Bargi Dam; 15 people have been rescued, and search operations are on for the remaining 12 people. Search and rescue operations are still going on.

He described the incident of sinking of cruise boat in Bargi Dam of Jabalpur as extremely sad. Reports indicate that several people have lost their lives in this accident. Furthermore, he appealed to the administration to expedite the rescue operations and make every possible effort to rescue the missing people as soon as possible. He urged the administration to order a magisterial inquiry into the incident and take immediate action against the cruise operator/contractor.
