Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar: On the holy occasion of Divine Deepotsav, the entire Ayodhya Dham is diving into the joy of Ramotsav with faith and belief. From the Ram Janmabhoomi temple to the Saryu banks, lakhs of lamps are glowing in every corner, which symbolizes the victorious return of Lord Ram. Devotees thronged Rampath and Dharampath to witness the festival of lights. Women, children, elderly people are all seen on the streets full of enthusiasm.
Long queues of devotees formed to have darshan of Ramlala and Hanuman Lala. Traditional bhajan-kirtan and recitation of Ramcharitmanas continued to resonate on the Rampath. Cultural programs on Dharampath made the atmosphere more devotional.
The beautiful arrangement of lamps on the ghats of Saryu river mesmerized the tourists. Devotee Rekha Patel said that this is a symbol of Ramrajya, the experience of faith is unforgettable. Tourist Vijay Kumar said that this beauty of Ayodhya is not found anywhere else in the world.
26 lakh 17 thousand 253 lamps were lit at 56 ghats in 25 minutes.
This time in the Deepotsav, 32 thousand volunteers of Avadh University did what can only be called a vision. Out of 28 lakh lamps spread on 56 ghats, 26 lakh 17 thousand 253 lamps were lit in just 25 minutes. This is the number of lamps that the 30-member Guinness Book of World Records team recorded with the help of three drones at 6:45 pm.
Lighting of lamps started at around 5:29 pm, which continued till around 6:15 pm. The control room was told that the Guinness Book of World Records team has started counting the lamps lit during this period, but everyone should continue lighting the lamps at their respective ghats.
University’s media in-charge RK Pandey said late in the evening that 20 to 25 minutes’ time was given by the Guinness Book of World Records team. He told that the lamps were lit at the scheduled time, but at some ghats it may have taken two to three minutes more for some lamps to be lit.
1100 indigenous drones present glimpses of various episodes of Ramayana in the sky
On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, 1100 indigenous drones presented glimpses of various episodes of Ramayana in the sky over Ram Ki Paidi. In the laser show decorated with music and lights, the life and ideals of Lord Shri Ram were portrayed through modern technology. Many charming figures like Jai Shri Ram, archer Shri Ram, Shri Ram along with mother Sita, brother Laxman, Sankat Mochan Hanuman, Pushpak Viman, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple were included in it.
Devotees who arrived from many countries were overwhelmed: Amidst the flickering of lamps, shower of flowers and slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ at Ram Ki Paidi and Saryu Ghat, even the foreign guests could not stop themselves and they also chanted Jai Shri Ram with open voice. Devotees who came from many countries including Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Sri Lanka were overwhelmed to see the festival of lights.

Saryu Aarti became a great gathering of faith
As soon as the evening came, the grand aarti of Maa Saryu started at Ram Ki Paidi Ghat. In which 2,100 devotees participated en masse. Sanskrit shloka saryutire shubha aarti, bhaktirev prakasha.
Deepjyoti: Samaradhya, the entire shore became devotional with the echo of Shri Ramo Hridi Vasate. This Aarti not only became a symbol of faith, but also proved to be a new record for collective Aarti in the Guinness Book of World Records.
New world record with 26 lakh lamps
The main attraction was the simultaneous lighting of more than 26 lakh lamps at 56 ghats. Four and a half lakh lamps were lit at Ram Ki Paidi, four and a half lakh lamps were lit at Lakshman Kila Ghat and five and a half lakh lamps were lit at Bhajan Sandhya Ghat. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. This event set a new world record in the number of lamps, surpassing the previous record.
Places decorated with colorful colors
Ramkatha Park, Hanumangarhi, Dashrath Mahal, Birla Mandir, Tulsi Udyan and Saryu Bridge were decorated with colorful lighting. 30 digital pillars were installed on Dharampath, which are displaying the episodes of Ramayana through 3D projection. Apart from this, drone show and light and sound show made the sky auspicious. The streets of Ayodhya are also decorated with lamp shaped lights. From the Ram Temple complex to the Saryu banks, every corner is glowing with spiritual aura.
Saints of Ayodhya told CM Yogi to be incarnation of Vikramaditya
In the program organized at Ram Katha Park, the saints have also described this grand event as a symbol of the construction of the temple. Seeing the development of Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was given the status of Vikramaditya. Jagadguru Raghavacharya said that Ayodhya is celebrating the ninth Deepotsav with great joy and enthusiasm.

This festival of lights has been provided by Ayodhya to the whole world. Shri Dharacharya said that today the remembrance of Treta Yuga is being received in this Kaliyuga. The grandest celebration of the divine festival of lights is visible in every street of Ayodhya. A grand divine Ram temple was established in Ayodhya. Now those who did not even want to take the name of Ram and did not want to come to Ayodhya. Those people also wear fake clothes, apply tilak and wear sacred thread and go to the temple and worship. He said that this Uttar Pradesh has now become the best state. Not only in India but leaders of many countries around the world say that our country too should have a Chief Minister like Yogi Adityanath.

After the consecration of Ram Lala, people gathered in large numbers for darshan at Shri Ram Temple. This paved the way for reestablishing Ayodhya as the cultural capital of the country. Many records were made from cultural point of view in Deepotsav. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who reached here, said that in the year 2017, 21 thousand lamps were not available. Today more than 26 lakh lamps are being lit. Culture is made up of small symbols. Temple construction is nearing completion. The flag will be hoisted on top of Shri Ram Temple in November. It cannot be called just a flag. This will be the flag of revival of religion, spirituality and culture emanating from Ayodhya at the global level. This flag will also be a symbol of Ayodhya becoming the cultural capital and the unity of the country. This will be an unannounced announcement. People believe so.
