Uttarakhand News: Chamoli district resident and international Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) player Shri Digambar Singh Rawat paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence today.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated Shri Digambar Singh Rawat on becoming the MFN (Matrix Fight Night) Lightweight World Champion. The Chief Minister said that Shri Rawat has made Uttarakhand proud by achieving remarkable achievements at the international level on the strength of his talent, hard work and determination. His success is a source of inspiration for the youth of the state and proves that the youth of Uttarakhand have the ability to establish global identity in the field of sports also.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to encourage sports talents and provide them better opportunities. He expressed confidence that Shri Digambar Singh Rawat will continue to bring glory to the country and the state by performing excellently in future also.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Digambar Singh Rawat, a resident of Chamoli district, is currently the MFN Lightweight World Champion. He won the vacant world title by registering a spectacular victory through technical knockout (TKO) in the first round in the MFN-18 competition held in Greater Noida.
Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister, Shri Digambar Singh Rawat said that the encouragement given to the players by the state government is boosting the morale of the youth and they are getting new energy to achieve their goals.
