Bihar Elections: Before the Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday interacted directly with the BJP workers of Bihar through the program ‘Mera Booth Sabse Strong’. During this, he described the great festival of democracy happening amidst the preparations for Chhath Puja as the one that will write a new chapter of prosperity of Bihar, in which the role of youth is important.
It is not a Grand Alliance, it is a ‘Lathbandhan’
Prime Minister Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition alliance. He said, “Those who call themselves a coalition, the people of Bihar call them ‘Lathbandhan’.” He alleged that these parties only know how to fight and fight, and their biggest interest is their own interest, they are not concerned about the youth of Bihar.
Association with Naxalism and Maoist terrorism
PM Modi alleged that the people of Lathbandhan kept the youth of Bihar suffering from Naxalism and Maoist terrorism for decades. He said that these parties also won the elections with the help of these terrorist elements. He said, “These Maoists did not allow schools, colleges, hospitals to open and destroyed the built institutions with bombs. Development was completely ruined under their rule.” PM Modi claimed that these people have ruined the future of two generations of Bihar.
NDA removed the darkness of Jungle Raj
Enumerating the achievements of the NDA government, the Prime Minister said that NDA has worked to bring Bihar out of the darkness of Jungle Raj and into the new light of development. He said that since 2014, the Center and the State have worked hard and today Bihar is moving rapidly towards ending Naxalism and Maoist terrorism. Modi stressed the need for a stable government to maintain the pace of development of Bihar. Appealing to the workers, he said, “Bihar has gained momentum, NDA government again.”
