Andhra pradesh kurnul bus accident: A heart-wrenching accident took place in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh in the early hours of Friday. At least 11 people were killed and several passengers were injured in a massive fire that broke out after a private travels bus collided with a bike near Chinntekar village.
🚨 After the collision, the entire bus became a ball of fire, the incident happened at 3:30 pm
According to officials, the accident occurred around 3:30 am. Within seconds of the collision, the fire spread so rapidly that the entire bus was burnt to ashes within a few minutes.
It is being told that there were about 40 passengers in the bus, out of which 18 people were found alive, while more than 10 deaths have been confirmed. Identification is becoming difficult due to many bodies being badly burnt.
😢 People kept screaming, some broke down the emergency gate – 12 passengers escaped.
Eyewitnesses said that the fire first broke out in the front part of the bus, and then spread to the rear. Amidst the chaos, 12 passengers saved their lives by breaking the emergency exit.
These passengers have been admitted to Kurnool Government Hospital. According to doctors, all of them have minor burn and injury marks.

There was heavy rain in the area at the time of the accident, and it is suspected that the collision may have been caused by slippage or low visibility.
The investigation is ongoing and police have said that the exact reason will become clear only after the technical report comes.

The fire completely reduced the bus to ashes within a short time. Police and fire brigade teams reached the spot, controlled the fire and conducted the rescue operation.
Officials are now verifying how many people were on board the bus and how many are missing.
