New Delhi, October 28 (IANS). ChatGPIT maker OpenAI has made a new announcement for Indian users. The company is making ‘ChatGPT Go’ available for free for one year to all Indian users. This facility will be given to users who sign up from November 4 during the limited time promotional period.
According to the official information given by the company, OpenAI is going to celebrate the Dave-Day Exchange event in Bengaluru on 4th November. This is the company’s first such event in India.
Nick Turley, Vice President and Head of ChatGPT, said, “The adoption and creativity we have seen from our users since launching ChatGPT Go has been inspiring. Ahead of our first day-exchange event in India, we are launching ‘ChatGPT Go’ for a year to help Indian users easily access and take advantage of advanced AI. Making it available for free.”
He added that we are excited to see what great things our users learn and create using these tools.
‘ChatGPT Go’ is a recently launched subscription based service from OpenAI. With this paid service, users get access to popular features of ChatGPT like higher message limits, more image generation, more file and image uploads, more storage.
‘ChatGPT Go’ was launched in India in August this year. This feature was introduced by the company especially for those users who were demanding affordable access to the most advanced features of ChatGPT from OpenAI. At the same time, with this launch, the company saw a tremendous increase in the number of its paid subscribers. The company’s number of paid ChatGPT subscribers in India almost doubled in the first month of the launch of this feature.
The chatbot is used by millions of people every day in India, ChatGPT’s second largest and fastest growing market. OpenAI’s advanced tools are used by developers, professionals and students across the country to learn, solve problems and be creative.
