New Delhi, October 31 (IANS). While giving information, OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman said that he had booked a Tesla car many years ago, but he never received the car. He had to wait a long time for this car and is now waiting for a refund.
Altman shared the post on social media platform X and wrote, “I was very excited for the Tesla car. I also understand the delay. But this wait of 7.5 years was too long for me.”
Altman shared a screenshot of July 11, 2018 and informed that he had booked this car in 2018 itself, for which he had also paid a booking amount of $ 45,000. This payment was also confirmed by the company.
He then sent a second mail to the company to cancel his reservation for the Tesla car and demand a refund of the amount paid. But the email bounced back.
In the third screenshot shared by him, the company’s email address is being shown as not found.
At present, there is no response from Tesla CEO Elon Musk on this complaint made by Sam Altman about Tesla. It is also not clear whether any personal response has been given to him by the company or not.
Altman has not yet given any information as to which Tesla model he had booked. However, if reports are to be believed, it could be a Tesla Roadster.
Meanwhile, Tesla has delivered its first car Model Y in India. The company delivered this car in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai last month in September. This Tesla car was bought by Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik. Regarding which the state transport minister had said that his decision to buy the car was to spread awareness about electric mobility.
