Here Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had come to address a public meeting. Apart from the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi also took part in fishing by jumping into a pond here. Apart from jumping into the pond and catching fish, Rahul Gandhi also addressed a public meeting in Begusarai. He sought votes from the people of Bihar for the grand alliance of the opposition. Rahul Gandhi promised in the public meeting that if the Grand Alliance comes to power in Bihar, the best education will be provided. Rahul Gandhi called it his personal guarantee and said that if the Grand Alliance government is formed, he will build a good university like Nalanda. Rahul Gandhi said that the Grand Alliance government will create such a university where students from all over the world will come and take admission.

Voting for assembly elections is to be held in Bihar on 6th and 11th November. The results of Bihar assembly elections will come on 14 November.
