On Wednesday, Nifty finally crossed 26,000 and closed at 26,053 with a gain of 118 points. However, 60 points fall in SGX Nifty today indicates possible profit-taking. Globally, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 75 points, while the tech-based Nasdaq index gained half a percent. Technically, the short-term trend is positive.

Talking about other factors, President Trump and Xi Jinping are scheduled to meet today. The Federal Reserve has cut interest rates by 25 basis points, but there is a lack of clarity on whether to cut rates in December. This could be a bit negative for the market. Despite the rally in the market yesterday, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold ₹2,540 crore in the cash market. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) made substantial purchases worth ₹5,692 crore. Know which stocks were bought today amid these factors in Zee Business’ special program, Traders Diary.
