Noida, 11 September (). Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and former District Panchayat President Rahul Awana has come forward to help people facing floods in Uttar Pradesh. They are visiting flood affected areas and are busy in providing relief to the victim families.
Meanwhile, a video of him is going viral on social media, in which he is seen giving cash assistance to people with his hands.
According to the information, Rahul Awana reached the flood-affected area and distributed notes with a bundle of Rs 500-500 to the needy.
It is clearly visible in the video that he himself took out the money and gave it directly into the hands of the victims. Various reactions are coming out on social media about this move. Some people are describing it as a human effort to help for poor and threatened families, while some are looking at it by connecting it with politics.
Rahul Awana not only provided cash assistance, but she also arranged for food and necessary materials for the flood victims. His team set up a relief camp through the PDA family’s kitchen, where the food and needs of the need were distributed to the flood affected families.
A large number of women, children and elders reached the camp and they were provided relief material.
The SP leader said that in this hour of crisis, it is the greatest religion to rise above politics and help the victims. He also appealed to the administration to provide immediate relief and rehabilitation plans to the affected families, so that people can live a normal life as soon as possible.
Many areas in Noida and nearby are currently under flood, affecting thousands of families. Water has entered the houses, people have left their goods and have taken shelter in safe places.
