Ayodhya, immortal thoughts. After five hundred years of struggle, Ramlala is not only seated in his grand temple, but now on 25th November another golden chapter of world history is going to be added. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the flag of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. This will be a historic moment when all the seven pinnacles of Ram temple will be decorated with saffron flag for the first time as part of the flag hoisting programme.
This event to be held on November 25 will be telecast live on all major news channels and digital platforms including Doordarshan. Large LED screens will be installed at major intersections (more than 30 places including Rampath Tiraha, Sahadatganj, Tedhi Bazaar, Nayaghat Bridge, Rikabganj, Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, Sugriva Fort, Ram Ki Paidi).
The city is being given a grander look than the festival of lights. The Ram temple complex will be bathed in special lights. The entire city will be seen shining with flower garlands, colorful lights and saffron flags. Grand archways will be built at every intersection, on which ‘Jai Shri Ram’ will be inscribed in golden letters. Unprecedented cultural events will take place in the city during the rituals that will run from 21 to 25 November. Tourism and Culture Department officials are contacting the artists
The entire administrative staff engaged in cleaning and decoration
Municipal Commissioner Jayendra Kumar said that the city is being decorated on the lines of “Pran Pratishtha Ceremony”. Municipal Corporation teams are engaged in cleaning and beautification day and night. Major roads are being repaired, ghats are being painted, trees are being planted on the roadside and flower pots are being decorated. Saryu beach is also being given a golden look. Every street and locality is being made clean and attractive so that lakhs of devotees coming get overwhelmed by the grandeur of Ayodhya.
