New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the function organized in Bhuj, Gujarat on the occasion of 61st Foundation Day of BSF. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing the BSF jawans and people present at the event, praised the valor of the Indian Army in Operation Sindoor. Along with this, he targeted the opposition parties for opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. Amit Shah said that today BSF is engaged in stopping infiltration on all the borders of the country. Stopping infiltration is not only necessary for the security of the country, but also to protect the country’s democratic system from being polluted. But it is unfortunate that some political parties are trying to weaken the campaign to remove intruders. Those political parties are opposing the SIR process going on by the Election Commission and the purification of voter list that is going on.

The Home Minister said that today I want to make it very clear that we will selectively expel each and every infiltrator from this country, this is our pledge. Who should be the Chief Minister of any state of this country, who should be the Prime Minister of the country, that decision can be taken only by the citizens of India. No infiltrator has the right to influence our democratic decisions. SIR is a process to safeguard the country and our democracy. Today, I want to appeal to the people of the country to fully support the SIR process being conducted by the Election Commission. I want to warn those political parties involved in the protection of infiltrators that Bihar elections are the mandate of the people of the country which is against the presence of infiltrators.
