New Delhi. Avadh Ojha, who runs coaching for UPSC and other competitive examinations, has announced his retirement from politics. Awadh Ojha started his political innings by joining Aam Aadmi Party even before the Delhi Assembly elections. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal had fielded Awadh Ojha from Patparganj assembly by giving him ticket but BJP’s Ravinder Singh Negi defeated him. Awadh Ojha had been maintaining distance from politics since the defeat. However, just a few days ago, Awadh Ojha had met SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, regarding which many speculations were being made.
Announcing his retirement through social media, Awadh Ojha wrote, Respected Arvind ji, Manish ji, Sanjay ji, all you officials and workers, thank you very much. I will be indebted to you for the love and respect you gave me. Retirement from politics is my personal decision. Referring to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Awadh Ojha described him as a great leader. Along with this, he gave special thanks to the people of Patparganj for giving love. After joining Aam Aadmi Party, Awadh Ojha had described Arvind Kejriwal as the incarnation of Lord Shri Krishna. He was criticized a lot for this.
Social media users had termed Ojha as a sycophant and Pappu of Aam Aadmi Party. Avadh Ojha had said in a podcast interview that after retiring from politics, he is happier than before because now he can express his views openly, whereas earlier he had received instructions to speak according to the party line. Let us tell you that Awadh Ojha has a large number of followers on social media, people like his videos and his way of talking.
