Stock Market Closing: Market has been falling for three days! Sensex 275 and Nifty slipped 82 points, investors lost lakhs of crores of rupees.

Today, the Indian stock market continued to fall for the third consecutive day. The market opened higher on Wednesday, but due to selling pressure it soon went into the negative zone and remained in the red throughout the day. On Wednesday, which was the third day of the week, the BSE Sensex closed at 84,391.27 points with a huge fall of 275.01 points (0.32%). Similarly, the NSE Nifty 50 index also closed at 25,758.00 points with a huge loss of 81.65 points (0.32 per cent). It is worth noting that a big fall was seen in the market on Monday and Tuesday also.

Heavy fall in Eternal’s shares
On Tuesday, out of 30 Sensex companies, only 10 companies closed in the green, while shares of the remaining 18 companies closed in the red, and shares of two companies closed without any change. Similarly, out of 50 companies in Nifty 50, only 19 companies closed in the green, while shares of all the remaining 31 companies closed with losses. Today, among Sensex companies, Tata Steel shares closed with the biggest gain of 0.87 per cent, while Eternal shares closed with the biggest fall of 2.86 per cent.

Among other Sensex companies, Sun Pharma gained 0.75 per cent, ITC 0.55 per cent, NTPC 0.48 per cent, Reliance Industries 0.43 per cent, HCL Tech 0.38 per cent, Power Grid 0.36 per cent, Asian Paints 0.18 per cent, Maruti Suzuki 0.05 per cent, and Axis Bank 0.04 per cent higher. Shares of Adani Ports and Titan closed without any change on Wednesday. Shares of these companies closed down. On the other hand, today shares of Trent 1.66 percent, Bharti Airtel 1.10 percent, Infosys 0.92 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.84 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.83 percent, ICICI Bank 0.78 percent, HDFC Bank 0.65 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.64 percent, TCS 0.63 percent, BEL 0.59 percent, Tata Motors Passenger 0.39. Shares of Bajaj Finserv closed down by 0.20 per cent, Kotak Mahindra Bank by 0.26 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 0.26 per cent, L&T by 0.23 per cent, Hindustan Unilever by 0.11 per cent and SBI by 0.06 per cent.
