New Delhi, December 13 (IANS). The recently released film ‘Dhurandhar’ is being appreciated across the country, but the film ‘Dhurandhar’ has been banned in many Gulf countries. Regarding this, BJP MP Bhim Singh said that Islamic countries are opposing this film. Terrorism has been shown in this film, so why are they facing problems?
Speaking to IANS in New Delhi, the BJP MP said that the film shows terrorism, and it happens that some terrorists are associated with Islam. It is a coincidence that among all the terrorists who are caught, there are followers of Islam religion. Why do you feel bad if terrorism is being shown in the film? Expression is a constitutional right in India. He said that there is nothing wrong in the film. The Censor Board of India has passed it, it is not appropriate to stop the release of the film. The Islamic countries which are opposing this film should introspect. Why do people protest when any statement or film is shown against terrorism? This gives strength to terrorist elements. He said that the countries which have banned the film should change their minds.
On the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack, the BJP MP said that 24 years ago, Pakistani terrorists had attacked the Parliament. Our brave soldiers sacrificed their lives while protecting it. Today we remember and pay tribute to them and honor their courage and supreme sacrifice for the country. Terrorism is very condemnable. Politics is done even after such incidents. There should be consensus in the nation, but people from the opposition also do politics.
On the statement of CM Mamata Banerjee, he said that she is giving this statement in despair. The opposition in Bihar has lost its footing, hence they are scared and are inciting violence in the state. It is wrong to scare. If names are removed from the voter list then infiltrators are removed, why is there a problem in this? The amount of condemnation is less.
Supporting the statement of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, he said that he has rightly said that votes are not obtained only on the basis of money. Buying votes on the basis of money does not work. The right thing is that even if you give lakhs of rupees to Muslims, they will not vote.
