Dubai, 12 September (). The fourth match of Asia Cup 2025 is being played between Pakistan and Oman at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Pakistan won the toss and batting first and scored 160 runs at the loss of 7 wickets with the help of a half -century of wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Haris.
Pakistan did not have a good start and Saim Ayub was dismissed without opening an account on the second ball of the first over. After this, Sahibzada Farhan and wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Haris took over the innings and shared an 85 -run partnership for the second wicket. Farhan was dismissed by 29 off 29 balls, then Pakistan’s score was 89 in 11 overs.
Mohammad Haris, who came to bat at number three, scored an excellent half -century and scored 66 runs off 43 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 7 fours. When Haris was dismissed as the third wicket, Pakistan’s score was 102 in 12.5 overs. After Haris was dismissed, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga (0) and Hasan Nawaz (9) were dismissed. Fakhar Zaman scored 23 off 16 balls and Mohammad Nawaz scored 19 runs off 10 balls to 160 runs.
Aamir Kalim and Shah Faizal bowled deadly for Oman. Kalim took 3 wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs, while Faizal took 3 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs.
During the toss, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga had decided to bat first with the aim of scoring a big score. Oman bowlers have not allowed this intentions of Pakistan to be fulfilled. It will have to be seen how Oman chases the score of 161, playing her first match of the Asia Cup.
