Patna, 27 December (IANS). Vikassheel Insaan Party founder Mukesh Sahni targeted the NDA government of Bihar and said that the government is trying to suppress the voice of the opposition.
While talking to the media in Patna, Mukesh Sahni criticized the government for vacating the government residence of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi at 10 Circular Road.
He said that the government should do public welfare work, but the government does not have the vision to do the work and is making people homeless. During the winter season, bulldozers are being run on the houses of the poor in the villages. They should be settled in time and then action should be taken. Rabri Devi has been living in that residence for two decades and you can see how she is being harassed. This is not the job of the government. The job of the government is to work in the public interest, not to harass opposition leaders. The role of the opposition is to raise the voice of the public, but in this government the opposition is being intimidated, their houses are being evacuated, but we are not afraid. We are not attached to home.
Mukesh Sahni said that when he was a minister, he also vacated the house later, but it is not right to create controversy over vacating Rabri Devi’s house. The public has given the NDA government a chance to work. In such a situation, they should work in the public interest. Accusing the government, he said that NDA has stolen the mandate and formed the government by distributing Rs 10,000.
Referring to the meeting of Nitish Kumar and Amit Shah, Mukesh Sahni said that there is no money to pay government employees in Bihar. Employees will get salaries only when the money is received from the Centre. If the central government does not give money, the salary will not be received. He said that the public is watching everything and a befitting reply will be given in the coming time.
