Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath formally launched the YAKSH app from the platform of senior police officers’ conference in Lucknow on Saturday. This app, created using AI and big data analytics, is considered to be an excellent tool for modern policing. Now police officers will be able to get complete information about mafia and criminals with just one click.
According to reports, the YAKSH app will have advance information about sensitive areas prone to stone pelting or other incidents. Features like real-time alerts, AI face recognition, voice search, CrimeGPT and gang analysis will enable officers to monitor the crime situation at any time. Through this app, officers can get complete information about gangs, criminal networks, history-sheeters and their activities on a single integrated platform. This will speed up the decision making process and enable more accurate crime control.
Impact and future preparation
YAKSH app will help police reduce response time and improve crime control. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this app will bring a new revolution in constant preparation and policing against criminals.
