Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday announced the launch of a new scheme to provide health facilities to the elderly people of the state at their homes.
The Chief Minister has directed the Health Department to implement this scheme on priority. This scheme comes under the ‘Seven Nishchay’ initiative of the Nitish Kumar government.
Kumar wrote in a post on social media platform
He wrote that the Health Department has been directed to work expeditiously to ensure that health facilities are provided to the senior citizens of the state at their homes.
The Bihar Cabinet has recently approved the implementation of ‘Saat Nishchay-3’ program for the next five years from 2025 to 2030 with the aim of including Bihar in the category of developed states. The state government has already implemented two ‘Saat Nishchay’ programs since 2015.
